Had a fantastic birthday meal on Tuesday with their steak night. Incredibly tasty steak, great wine and wonderful service from the talented Rosie. Harrison was fantastic behind the bar and pumped out incredible cocktails all night.

What a lovely experience. The girl that greeted us at the door couldn’t have been more welcoming even though we were at the point of the kitchen closing. The service was superb and the food definitely did not disappoint. A really nice meal served by really nice people.

Had dinner this evening at The Tandy! Service was wonderful, cocktails were delightful and we fully took advantage of the cocktail offers before 7pm Food was delicious, so fresh and colourful! We all really liked the new menu! There was 7 of us girls, we had an array of starters that we all tried and loved over a natter. All the staff were so smiley, happy and polite; looking as if they all love their jobs and it appears it’s a great place to be! We all had different mains, but all enjoyed them. I had the Thai Green curry! It was so delicious, fresh, healthy and colourful! Can’t wait to go back! Thank you everyone for a great evening!

I stopped for lunch at The Tandy Sandbanks on a Saturday afternoon in January. It was fairly quiet due to it being a cold grey day, but it was warm and welcoming inside. We went on the 2-course set menu for 22.00, which was good value for a starter and main course. We also had a fantastic bottle of wine which wasn’t overly expensive, but really complemented the food. I started with the French onion soup, which was lovely. It was hearty and warming, and had a fantastic flavour. For my main course I had fish and chips, which was nice and crispy and tasted fresh. I do have one small gripe, and that’s the fish and chips came with fries, rather than chips. It wasn’t the end of the world but chips do go much better with fish in my opinion. For dessert I enjoyed a chocolate and rhubarb mouse. The sharp rhubarb worked well with the creamy mouse. My husband had possibly the largest cheese board I’ve ever seen, and I had to help him eat some as it was absolutely huge. The service we received was fantastic - all the staff were very friendly and attentive. The restaurant was nicely decorated and had a lovely atmosphere, even though it was quiet. It had quite a similar look and feel to an Ivy restaurant, which is definitely not a bad thing. Overall, we had a great meal at The Tandy, the food and service were excellent, and I’d recommend a visit if you’re in the area.

A new opening and the venue is amazing. Fantastic new staff, food is insane and a great atmosphere. A must go venue with a lot of cool new things planned. The espresso martini was one of the best I’ve had. So glad this place is back in a great location on the sandbanks strip.

What a lovely place for breakfast. Lovely design, amazing staff, nice music in background. I had granola with berry compote and bee pollen and my husband had toast with 2 poached eggs and avocado. I had cappuccino and he had virgin Marry. We enjoyed it all. Menu offers traditional options such as full English breakfast or simple toast and jam. Prices are absolutely normal for the area. We tried breakfast here and next door and honestly…I don’t understand why people queue for next door if this place is much better. Food was delicious, coffee was so tasty and that Marry… very nice! Next time you wonder where to go for breakfast at Sandbanks, try this place. And I am sure it would be worth it to go here at any point of the day. Not only breakfast.

Truly a gem of a restaurant and bar in the heart of Sandbanks! We went for the Sunday roast menu and it did not disappoint. The beef was cooked perfectly and the chef even made the roast potatoes extra crispy for us, just how we like them! Their wine list is equally impressive with some great wines and a few unique options too. We got to sample a few before choosing a delicious bottle of Chilean red - 2022 A LOS VINATEROS BRAVOS 'VOLCANICO'. All the team were smiling and made it a wonderful time. We can’t wait to go back! Thank you The Tandy.
